Recipients

BC Spaces is proud to announce that Lloyd Manchester is the 2003 recipient of the annual Wild Earth Award. This award honours those who have displayed exceptional dedication, achievement and perseverance over many years as an environmental activist. Currently a senior policy advisor with the Kelowna based Canadian EarthCare Society, Lloyd has worked for decades on environmental issues ranging from park creation to pesticide registration and reduction. His work had been vital in ensuring that British Columbia's wilderness remains to be passed on to future generations.
